SPEO held its Annual Opportunities Forum on February 5th, 2026. The event featured presentations from the state, county, and local levels
Thanks to the presenters and SPEO members for making this year’s Opportunities Forum a success. We enjoyed a sellout crowd this year as Mentor and Progege firms were eager to hear of upcoming opportunities from local clients. Also, thanks to the sponsors of the event who contributed $8,100!

The event concluded with the presentation of this year’s Wallenberg Spirit Award to Douglas M. Clark, P.E. The award is presented annually to a member-selected recipient who epitomizes the spirit of Raoul Wallenberg: “for making the lives of others better; for lifting up others because it is the right thing to do, not because the world is watching; for simply helping others because they are human beings, not because they are of a certain race.”
Presenting the award was SPEO Secretary Dave Troianos, who highlighted Doug’s outstanding work with SPEO.
