2025 SPEO Opportunities Forum
SPEO held its annual Public Opportunities Forum on February 6, 2025. The event featured presentations from the state, county, and local levels. Thanks to 33 mentor and protégé sponsoring firms, the event also raised $10,100 to cover expenses and support the SPEO scholarship program.

The event concluded with the presentation of this year’s Wallenberg Spirit Award to Sarah Dunn. The award is presented annually to a member-selected recipient who epitomizes the spirit of Raoul Wallenberg: “for making the lives of others better; for lifting up others because it is the right thing to do, not because the world is watching; for simply helping others because they are human beings, not because they are of a certain race.”
Presenting the award was SPEO Secretary Dave Troianos, who highlighted Sarah’s outstanding work on SPEO’s website as part of the Public Awareness Committee.
