The mission of Southwestern Pennsylvania Engineering Outreach is to: |

Provide opportunities, guidance and mentoring to existing and new minority- and women-owned engineering firms in the area, enabling them to be viable, competitive, self-sustaining members of the business community. |

Enable minority- and women-owned firms to provide competitive employment opportunities that will attract and keep talented and ambitious minority and women engineers in the area. |
| • | Encourage and support youth to enter the engineering profession. |

| March 8, 2010 | Training Session (Preparing Effective Engineering Proposals) for protégé members only. Sign in and continental breakfast 8 to 8:30. Training to take place at ALCOSAN's new CS&T building at 3101 Preble Avenue. Training goes to 4 (lunch included. There are still some open spaces. Please RSVP by 3-3-10 if you haven't yet. |

| June 28, 2010 | Golf Outing, Churchill Valley CC. Buffet lunch to begin at 11 a.m. Shotgun starts at 12:30 p.m., followed by a reception and dinner. More details available in March. |
